Ronald G. Fragge, M.D.
Dr. Fragge is the founder of Fragge Allergy and Asthma Clinics, PSC. He retired from medical practice on October 1, 2015. He graduated from Villa Madonna College and started at University of Louisville School of Medicine at age 18 as one of the youngest students ever admitted to the medical school. He was recognized as the top student in his class with the Mosby Book Award in his sophomore year. He was elected to membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in his junior year and served as president of the local chapter in his senior year. He was also elected to membership in the Phi Kappa Phi All University Honor Society in his senior year.
After graduation at age 22, he interned at St. Elizabeth Hospital North for 1 year. He started a residency in Internal Medicine at the Cincinnati Jewish Hospital for 2 years and was co-author of numerous publications.
His residency in chest disease was at Bellevue Hospital in New York as part of Columbia University. His residency in allergy was at Roosevelt Hospital in New York under the direction of William Sherman MD. A fellowship in bronchoscopy at St. Luke Presbyterian Hospital completed his training.
His primary interest has always been in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases, allergic and non-allergic, including Asthma, COPD, Dyspnea (shortness of breath), Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema and other lung diseases.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. He is currently involved with Dr. Villareal in clinical drug trials.
Manuel S. Villareal, M.D.
Dr Villareal has been with Fragge Allergy & Asthma Clinics since 1994 right after finishing his combined fellowship training in Allergy & Immunology and Geriatric medicine at West-Los Angeles VA Medical Center-UCLA School of Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and American Board of Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine-American Board of Internal Medicine. He graduated cum laude from De La Salle University School of Medicine in the Philippines, completed his Internal Medicine Residency and was the Chief Resident at St Peter's Medical Center-University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
He has been actively involved in academics both in teaching medical students and residents, and in clinical research. He is a Volunteer Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Immunology Division of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and is a volunteer faculty at the St Elizabeth Medical Center Family Practice Residency Program. Dr Villareal is currently working in collaboration with the University of Cincinnati Department of Environmental Health, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine-Immunology Division, and Cincinnati Childrens Hospital and Medical Center-Allergy/Immunology Division in the Cincinnati Childhood Asthma and Air Pollution Study(CCAAPS) which has produced several peer-reviewed publications in major medical journals. Dr Villareal is also involved in several clinical drug trials which helps bring new breakthrough therapies to the general public. He has been recognized by Cincinnati Magazine as one of the Top Doctors in Greater Cincinnati since 2010.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology(AAAAI), and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology(ACAAI). He is the Past President of the Cincinnati Asthma and Allergy Society(CAAS), and the Past President of the International Association of Filipino Allergists and Immunologists(IAFAI).
